The Finding Perfect series starts with a familiar face–Mike Sterling–yep, that lovable teddy bear of a detective we met in Carter’s Treasure. Mike has returned home to the fictional town of Renlend, KS. A common theme I brought over from the RTL series is that family is what you make it. In each of these books, the main characters are a combination of those who have grown up in the small town, and those who find themselves drawn there for one reason or another and can’t make themselves leave. Once again, there are comedic situations, lots of smart-ass banter and that continuous flow of characters in and out of the series.
